What are the pros of vegetative propagation?

Posted on April 8, 2026April 8, 2026 By B&D

Vegetative propagation divides root clumps where each separated section retains the original plant structure and resumes growth using an already developed root system. It splits mature clumps where each section carries identical tissues and active buds that continue growth without changing plant form or characteristics. It re-establishes sections with intact roots where water and nutrient uptake begins immediately, allowing consistent growth across all divided plants without a germination stage.
